Mystery Architecture

Event Description: 

    This event is designed to test the students' ability to think on their feet. At the competition, teams will be given a bag of building materials and instructions to build a device that can be tested. The Primary and Secondary dimensions used for scoring will be identified in the instructions. Some examples of devices are: The tallest tower-to hold a baseball at the top, the longest bridge to hold a small milk cartons full of sand in the center, the longest cantilevers to hold a chalkboard eraser at the end and the longest boat/barge to prevents an object from sinking. These are just examples The students will not know the assignment until they enter the competition.
